Les Accessoires du Maître

1984-10

The Gallimard version of the Master's Accessories box was published after the French version by Schmidt, of which it is the adaptation in the pocket format dear to Gallimard.

Although sold in a large plastic box, supposed to represent a grimoire, the book is in the standard pocket format of the Folio collection and can be placed in the library alongside the other Books of which you are the hero of the collection.

The ruleset, monsters, puzzles and traps are identical to those of the Schmidt version. Only the presentation chapters of the game and the publisher change. We find the same decorative elements and characters or monsters printed on cardboard boards. The rest of the material provided, such as the dice, is also identical.

Only the illustration on the cover of the box is different and takes up that of the Schmidt box of the Initiation au Jeu d'Aventure.

The game box contains:

  • The Book of Heroes, Monsters and Dark Forces, paperback (88 pages)
  • 128 figurines to be cut, accompanied by plastic bases to plug them in
  • 8 floor plans: gridded flexible cardboard sheets
  • 2 mobile cutting boards
  • 2 planks of walls, low walls, doors and gates to be cut
  • A pad of character sheets
  • A pad of battle sheets
  • A pad of grid plan sheets
  • Three six-sided dice
  • A 20-sided die.
  • A pen.
