You are a boarder at Benton College in Shropshire. Your comrade Mark Avery has brought the precious Black River Emerald, which belongs to his family. The once-prestigious college has had its fortunes reversed, but the theft never tarnished its reputation. But now the emerald disappears...and it's you who are accused! A case keeps Sherlock Holmes in London, so it's up to you to prove your innocence, while the Black River Indians roam the park...

In good Victorian society or in the slums of London, it's up to YOU to lead the investigation, with only a pencil, an eraser and... your trick!
